Slick & Stefano is an arcade-style browser game created by myself and Andrew Simonini for the 2026 Bigmode Game Jam hosted on Itch.io. It follows Slick, a young kid dedicated to sliding through all of Slick, Oklahoma on a snowboard covered in butter.
Programmed various game systems in Unity; the currency system, bartering system, and various UI systems
Co-designed the game structure and upgrade progression
Succesfully completed the project under a tight one-week period
This was the first game jam I ever participated in, and the experience helped me refine my game development process in both a technical and theoretical sense, as the short timeline forced us to be efficient without sacrificing quality.
